What We Do

We provide maintenance programs for professional research facilities, hospitals, private medical laboratories, private and public schools, colleges and universities throughout Washington, Baltimore, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our clients include The National Institute of Health, National Naval Medical Center, The Smithsonian Institute, Johns Hopkins,The FBI, Medical College of Virginia, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Siemens, Veterans Administration Hospitals, U.S.D.A., Westinghouse and many more.

Our service offered is comprehensive periodic maintenance for most models of microscopes and microtomes. This service includes:

Cleaning the optical system

Adjustment of fluorescence equipment

A trained technician services ON SITE for your convenience. We report needs and repairs to you, and work is completed upon your approval.

Also, to aid in complying with government inspection agencies, we give you a maintenance booklet. A separate page for each microscope keeps a dated record of all work performed.

Emergencies

Emergency Service is a vital part of what we do. Quick, efficient service is a must. We have a healthy supply of replacement parts and accessories in stock and have access to all major suppliers and manufacturers.

Cost

The cost of service depends on the number of instruments to be serviced, and the distance of your facility from our shop. Usually, per-instrument fee is charged for periodic maintenance, and an hourly fee for emergency repair calls.
